The boys basketball team played a close game on January 9 against August Martin High School, winning by only eight points with a final score of 59-51. August Martin pulled into the lead in the first quarter, scoring 18 points while Harris was only able to put eight points on the board. In the second quarter, the outcome was literally reversed, with Harris scoring 18 points and August Martin making eight points. Through the beginning of the second half, August Martin only led by five points. Harris pulled away in the fourth quarter, scoring 18 more points to August Martin’s five. Junior Milan Majstorovic led the team in scoring, making 18 points and shooting five out of six on the free throw line. Senior captain Edward Lu was also a stand out, making four three point field goals in the game.
