Background:
Mr. Claesgens is an alum of Penn State University, who has graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He worked in finance for two years, before joining the NYC Teaching Fellows and earned a Master’s Degree in Education alongside teaching.With eight years of experience of teaching in New York City under his belt, Mr. Claesgens is extremely glad to join the faculty at Townsend Harris High School.
Passion:
“I’m very glad to be here. I like most about the classroom when students develop an appreciation for math in their daily lives outside of the classroom. I am passionate about traveling, Penn State football, and ultimate frisbee.”
