Every Sunday night the UCB Chelsea, located at 307 West 26th Street between 8th and 9th avenue, puts on ASSSSCAT 3000, with shows at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.

After sprinting several blocks and sliding as silently as I could into a seat at the back of the movie theater, sweaty, exasperated and exhausted, I was ready to dislike whatever was on the huge, rectangular screen in front of me. I was wrong, however, and it only took a few seconds to start a wave of laughter that lasted throughout the movie, Delivery Man.

Holiday 2013 Movie Review: Fall in love with Frozen

If you thought Frozen was just another animated Disney movie where the prince saves the helpless princess and they fall in love at first glance, then you’re in for delightful surprise. The film is very loosely based off “The Snow Queen,” a fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson.

The Best Man Holiday is confusing, not cheery

It’s been more than a decade since The Best Man came out in October 1999, but it still had a big enough fanbase to turn out Malcom D. Lee’s new sequel to it, The Best Man Holiday. Frankly, I wasn’t even familiar with the predecessor. However, it seems that, with all the high expectations coming with its debut, the movie falls short and isn't the Christmas miracle that loyal moviegoers may have been anticipating.
