As a retired advisor to The Classic, I congratulate you for your superb reporting and your eloquent response to the charge of disseminating “fake news”! Your carefully sourced articles, repeated attempts to elicit responses from Interim Acting Principal Jahoda, and live videos constitute powerful proof that your responsible, timely, and very important journalism is most certainly not “fake news”!

Kudos to you and your fine work. I am a teacher in a DOE Manhattan high school and I can confirm the DOE’s inscrutability and disregard of the school community when it comes to choosing principals. The C-30 process is a rubber stamp in the classic interpretation of the phrase; you are to be admired for opening it to greater public scruity. May you prevail in obtaining a principal who deserves such excellent students.
